Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role is responsible for capital expenditure, cashflow and financing planning, forecasting and performance reporting across the client's business, with a primary focus on the Onshore business, including Solar & Battery and Southern Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of capital expenditure, cashflow and financing budgets, forecasts and long-term plans for the Onshore business.
• Work closely with Commercial Finance and business stakeholders to understand key assumptions, risks and opportunities and ensure these are appropriately reflected in plans and forecasts.
• Coordinate and consolidate capital expenditure, cashflow and interest reporting.
• Assist in the preparation, maintenance and ongoing development of the consolidated cashflow model.
• Deliver accurate and timely analysis of capital expenditure, cashflow and financing performance, highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare reporting and insights for senior leadership, governance forums and Group Finance.
• Support the development of performance metrics and reporting that improve understanding of business and project performance.
• Assist with the analysis of joint venture cashflows, equity requirements and other financing activities where applicable.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency and quality of FP&A processes, reporting and forecasting.
• Support the simplification, standardisation and automation of reporting activities.
• Work with stakeholders to improve the accessibility and quality of financial information and management reporting.
