Electrical Engineer - WTG

Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer - WTG to lead and co-ordinate all electrical engineering deliverables associated with offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of electrical scope of works and client requirements for offshore turbine and foundation contracts.
• Lead on wind turbine electrical design review and approvals.
• Front end engineering design works for turbine foundation electrical systems.
• Manage electrical interfaces between turbine and foundation.
• Close collaboration with suppliers to ensure that the design, manufacturing, and installation process comply with contractual and industry design and quality standards.

About You

• Extensive experience working within wind turbine design in the offshore wind industry.
• Knowledge of HV electrical systems within the turbine, including converters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Knowledge of LV electrical and cable systems.
