Commercial Account Manager / Sales

Our client is looking for a Commercial Account Manager / Sales to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Taipei/Taichung.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively find new sources of revenue, including from new companies, new services and new sectors in Taiwan.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in Taiwan, including making suggestions on how to secure permits in multiple sectors of the infrastructure and energy markets.
• Manage and leverage existing customer relationships in Taiwan to cross/up-sell new services (e.g. crewing, personnel permitting, procurement, logistics, technical services, port agency etc.).
• Participate and lead in bid-tenders and securing work, including close communication with the Taiwan/Regional Pricing & Bidding Team.
• Assist Business Development colleagues closely with assigned tasks, including the management of allocated accounts in Taiwan and all related activities including customer engagement, reporting, internal alignment, administration etc.
• Network and build positive rapport with customers including internal reports and follow-ups.
• Develop sales materials and present during meetings.
• Identify new channels or partnerships to broaden market share.
• Share market intelligence internally including connecting Taiwanese customers' network to develop opportunities outside of Taiwan.
• Coordinate visits to Taiwan from customers and colleagues (e.g. setting up meetings, accommodation and transport arrangements etc.).
• Participate in relevant industry events, including key stakeholder meetings and conferences (e.g. TIPC, ECCT, Taiwan Energy event etc.) and aligning internally to share relevant circulars/updates to the market.
• Take on other works as required by management.
