Deliver engineering, coordination, and execution of onshore cable installation and landfall drill works, ensuring compliance with project requirements for cost, schedule, quality, and UK regulatory frameworks.
- Own engineering scope for onshore cable installation and landfall drill (design to execution).
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, permitting requirements, and QA/QC frameworks.
- Lead technical governance including risk, change, and quality management.
- Drive and support ITT processes including technical scope definition and bid evaluation.
- Manage interfaces across disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Define cable routing and landfall drill design parameters and technical solutions.
- Develop and review technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and reports.
- Support UK permitting, consenting, and site investigations.
- Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, and contractor design outputs.
- Evaluate supplier/contractor technical submissions and provide recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and manage technical risks, costs, and optimisation opportunities.
- Technical specifications, ITT documentation, and engineering reports
- Interface and coordination documentation
- Cost estimates and risk register inputs
- Change requests, claims input, and technical queries
- QA/QC documentation and final handover packages
- Recommend installation methods, technical solutions, and design parameters
- Support contractor and supplier selection decisions
- Approve technical deliverables within delegated authority
- Drive resolution of technical risks and key issues
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in onshore cable installation and/or landfall drilling
- Strong UK project experience (permitting, stakeholders, and standards)
- Experience supporting or driving ITT/tender processes
- Strong technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
