Accountant

Our client is looking for an Accountant to manage all accounting matters for assigned entities under the group. The role will be based in Taipei, Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

• Support related accounting and tax activities.
• Manage periodic closing of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of accounting information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other internal and external financial reports.
• Aid in evaluating short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and procedures.
• Address ad-hoc requests related to accounting and tax matters.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Technically competent in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills with a good command of verbal and written English.
• Competency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) is required.
• Familiar with IFRS and Taiwan general accounting as well as corporate finance principles and processes.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision and under tight deadlines.
• Experience solving issues as they arise and dealing with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
