Contracts Manager
Negotiate contract T&C’s for projects of significant value (from £20M to £500M) and subsequent commercial management of the delivery phase. This will include management of commercial staff and negotiate contract prices and ensure all contract prices can be substantiated and provide value for money to consumers

Have demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management skills are essential, as is the ability to influence, lead and resolve disputes together with problem solving.
Deal with cost and forecast management via regular cost reporting and ensuring change management procedures are adhered to, Payment and expenditure management, Cost estimating.
Provide robust post contract commercial management which will support the project goals and objectives including negotiating/agreeing compensation events and ensuring that the core principles of the Commercial Manual are being implemented.
A Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification and have or be working towards professional membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS or CICES. No less than 5 yrs post graduate experience.
Knowledge and understanding of commercial governance arrangements for the development and execution of large capital projects together with commercial, contract or cost experience in delivering projects.
Experience of estimating, sourcing management, cost & budget management, and contract administration
Experience of drafting and interpreting commercial contracts together with knowledge of Standard Form construction contracts and bespoke contract arrangements. Experience of working with NEC / FIDIC Contracts.
