Senior Accountant

Scope:

Responsible for communication between external accounting service provider and the client's functional finance departments
Responsible for preparation of monthly financial reporting and the submission to shareholders in a timely fashion and in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Prepare supporting calculations for journals, intercompany reconciliations, monthly billing, and other closing procedures.
Maintaining contact with project team
Maintain contact with cost control team (PMO)
Oversee and work closely with our advisors that provide finance, payroll and tax support on behalf of all 3 polish entities
Helping to deliver the budgets and forecasts.
Oversee the accounting for two project companies and work closely together with the cost controller to ensure correctness of the financial reports.
Support the Project Director and development team of two Projects by providing timely, complete and accurate financial information.
Responsible for all aspects of finance in general (tax, treasury, accounting, reporting, planning & control, budgeting, financing, etc.).
Build good relationships with other parts of the business and bridge the interests and requirements of the different disciplines within the companies.
Participate in roll out of ERP (Workday) for the 3 polish entities

Experience Required:

5+ years of relevant experience with a background in accountancy and/or in an operational setting, e.g. operations & maintenance at utility companies (energy producers).
Experience with reporting to international shareholders for consolidation purposes
Strong proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with financial systems
Knowledge of local (polish) regulatory requirements in the area of tax / accounting
Fluent English-spoken & Written
