Our client, a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor / Inspector to support the delivery of major offshore projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and inspect critical secondary steel fabrication works, ensuring adherence to the highest technical and safety standards.
 

The role focuses primarily on Secondary Structures SIP fabrication for BAL02, as well as SIP fabrication, Boat Landings, and Ladders for HOW03. Occasional travel may be required for training or to provide cover for colleagues across fabrication sites.
 


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee fabrication processes to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

  • Supervise and inspect welding, coating, NDT, civil and concrete works, and material logistics.

  • Ensure full compliance with project specifications, HSE standards, drawings, and documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines to maintain smooth project interfaces.

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and key stakeholders.
     


Candidate Profile

  • Strong practical and theoretical experience in fabrication and inspection.

  • Relevant certifications such as IWI (International Welding Inspector), IWS (International Welding Specialist), IWT (International Welding Technician), or IWE (International Welding Engineer).

  • Additional qualifications such as Frosio Level III / NACE and NDT Level II or III are advantageous.

  • Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred, with hands-on experience in heavy-duty steel structure manufacturing.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction environments.

  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role, managing multidisciplinary teams.

  • Fluency in Polish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Valid and up-to-date safety training certifications.

  • Innovative and adaptable, with knowledge of the latest coating processes and fabrication technologies.

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
