We are seeking a commercially astute Contract Manager to lead contract governance and risk management across offshore wind EPCI electrical packages. This role will act as a critical bridge between project delivery and commercial integrity, ensuring contractual alignment, risk mitigation, and value optimisation across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end contract management for both client and supplier agreements, ensuring full compliance and protection of commercial interests
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks throughout project execution
  • Provide strategic contract advisory support to Project Managers on rights, obligations, and risk exposure
  • Develop and standardise contract templates across multiple supplier and subcontractor categories
  • Analyse project scope, contractual obligations, and warranty liabilities for offshore wind projects
  • Advise on key execution milestones, including billing schedules, variation orders (VOR), and liquidated damages (LDs)
  • Lead claims and counter-claims management to secure financial and contractual positions
  • Ensure compliance with international client standards, particularly European regulatory and contractual frameworks
  • Establish and implement robust contract templates for equipment supply and installation services
  • Define and negotiate key commercial terms, including FAT/SAT milestones and payment structures
  • Embed performance clauses covering quality, delivery timelines, and penalty mechanisms
  • Lead supplier negotiations and monitor contractual performance and obligations
  • Support senior leadership in high-level negotiations with clients and key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies to enhance project profitability and minimise risk
  • Represent the organisation in cross-border discussions and project-related engagements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M) or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in contract and commercial law
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in contract management within EPC environments
  • Proven exposure to offshore wind or large-scale energy/infrastructure projects is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex international contracts, including EPCI frameworks
  • Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of project management principles, risk allocation, and claims management
  • Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder, and international environments
