The challenge
The client needed skilled personnel mobilised within a tight timeframe, while travel restrictions, mandatory quarantine and changing entry requirements complicated delivery.
Specialist talent was in high demand, and extended periods away from home reduced candidate availability. Each contractor required thorough vetting, onboarding and the correct immigration documentation before deployment.
Our approach
We assessed the project’s workforce requirements and regulatory obligations, developing a recruitment and mobilisation plan aligned with the client’s deadlines.
Our team coordinated candidate vetting, onboarding and the processing of Taiwanese visas, work permits and Alien Resident Certificates (ARC cards). Working across time zones with embassies, visa support agencies and project stakeholders, we tracked requirements and adapted arrangements as restrictions changed.
Daily meetings with the client kept recruitment, documentation and travel plans aligned. These discussions helped resolve emerging issues quickly and maintain progress through to project handover.
The result
LSP delivered 27 contract hires and facilitated the processing of 54 work permits, visas and ARC cards, overcoming significant logistical and regulatory challenges.
Close coordination supported a smooth project handover and strengthened the partnership, leading to further project engagements and additional placements.
