The Site Manager’s job purpose is to manage as first person on site all siterelated activities along the project execution phase from site establishment to handover of the wind farm to the customer and Service as well as to ensure that all activities on site are done within the project schedule and according to HSE standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
It is the general responsibility and obligation to adhere to all HSE standards, protocol’s and best practices. A Site Manager shall exhibit an upstanding culture of safety and safe work for their own person and all adjacent parties. Additionally a Site Manager shall ensure the preservation of the natural environment for the areas in which work is to be performed as well as to promptly report any spillage, littering or other event which could negative impacted the surrounding area. It is expected that all employees conduct themselves in a professional manner observing common laws but also local laws provided in the site induction. Moreover it is expected to be sensitive to the cultural expectation of the community.

• Excellent technical qualification
• Basic knowledge and appreciation of the technical, commercial and political aspects driving the wind industry
• Capable of working independently, however, with the support from and inpermanent cooperation with the other members of our clients Project Management Department
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work with different business cultures
• Proficient computer skills utilizing - MS office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to deal with several issues concurrently
• HSE awareness
• Pro-active attitude
• Leadership skills
• Good communication skills in English language (spoken and written)
• The position requires a high willingness to travel

Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in operative project execution and construction site management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing and plant engineering industry, the wind energy sector and/or similar industries/energy sectors.
• Bachelor or Master in Civil Engineering

Required Certificates and Trainings
The following certificates and trainings are required prior to start of work on a construction site:
• Valid medical evaluations such as:
- Drive & control ability; G25 (valid for Germany) or equivalent
- Working at heights ability; G41 (valid for Germany) or equivalent
- Respiratory protective equipment; G26.1 (valid for Germany) or equivalent
• Valid first aid certification
• Rescue training
• Occupational health & safety instruction
• Online Nordex site safety induction
• Fall arrester trainings
• Car driving license, European Class B

Further Certificates and Trainings
The Project Manager will be asked to participate in special trainings per the required work to be performed such as:
• Safety walk training
• Safe driving training
