UK RENEWABLES RECEIVE £1BN INVESTMENT FROM ONPATH ENERGY!

OnPath Energy have officially opened their new Sunderland Headquarters and announced plans to invest around £1bn pounds in clean energy projects across the UK over the next 5 years!

The developer was acquired in 2023 by Brookfield Asset Management, and operate and owns 10 offshore wind farms across Scotland and Northern England. They expect to continue with the construction of several other UK projects over the coming year.

Richard Dunkley, CEO at OnPath Energy, said: “The new government has been very firm in its commitment to accelerating the transition to net zero.
We will be contributing towards reaching this destination by aiming to invest around one billion pounds in building more of the renewables infrastructure the UK needs over the next five years, a plan which will in turn create and support hundreds of skilled, sustainable green jobs across the UK, including within the North East."
