🌍 PGE Commits €20bn to Renewables by 2035
Polish utility PGE has unveiled plans to invest €20 billion (PLN 85 billion) in renewable energy projects by 2035, marking a major step toward its goal of climate neutrality by 2050, according to ReNews.
A Clean Energy Future:
PGE’s renewable buildout includes:

These initiatives are expected to drive a 75% reduction in CO₂ emissions, powering millions of homes while helping transition Poland’s energy mix.
Baltic Sea Ambitions:The utility plans to develop 7GW of offshore wind capacity in the Baltic Sea, with the potential to supply clean electricity to 7.5 million households.
To support grid stability and flexibility, PGE also aims to expand battery and pumped storage capacity to over 18GWh, backed by an investment of PLN 14 billion.
