What You Bring to the Table:

- Safety First: A solid understanding of safety systems and the importance of risk assessments.

- Resilience: Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including some anti-social hours.
- Mobility: A full UK driving licence and the ability to live within a 45-minute drive of CA2.
- Team Player: Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of working harmoniously within a team.
- Documentation: Ability to complete work-related paperwork accurately.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

- Education: Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
- Professional Training: Relevant City & Guilds level 2 qualification.
- Additional Licences: HGV licence, Distribution Network Operator LV and HV overhead authorisations.
- Technical Skills: Experience in operating plant and street works qualifications.
- Tech-Savvy: Demonstrable computer literacy.

Your Role in the Team:

Once fully qualified, your responsibilities will include constructing and refurbishing the overhead power distribution network, as well as locating and repairing faults. Your work will ensure minimal disruption to electricity supply, and you will keep the Customer Contact Centre updated on progress to maintain transparent communication with customers. Regular inspection and maintenance of overhead plant will also be a key part of your duties, ensuring the network's reliability.
