Party Chief

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Party Chief to work inshore Ijmuiden from the 3rd August for 6 months.

The Party Chief Will be involved only with the inshore section survey works during project mobilisation, execution, as built and demobilisation phase.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of all survey related works involved on the Project.
• Ensure that the survey activities are planned and performed according to the quality, HSE procedures.
• QA/QC all survey data.
• Check all data meets project specific requirements.
• Distribute all data needed to support cable laying and trenching vessel.
• Distribute the data to the Company according to delivery schedule.
• Discuss and communicate the survey results with the Project Team.
• Prepare GIS Data.
• Solving problems with survey equipment and software,
• Reports to Chief Surveyor.

Technical profile requirements  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Party Chief
• Work experience for cable shore pull and installation and dredging operations: Total station experiences - Network experiences - Octans & GNSS experiences,
• Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment. 
• Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems (Bricscad, Qinsy, Civil3D, QGIS / Arcgis Pro, DTPS, NavaQ, Tendo
• Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam.

Methodology/Certification requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

Certifications required:

• Valid Passport
• VCA
• BOSIET

Language proficiencies  

• Fluent speaking and writing English, proficiency in other languages is a major plus.
