Senior Engineering Project Manager

We are supporting a leading renewable energy platform in appointing a Senior Engineering PM to take a central role in design governance and construction oversight across its solar and energy storage portfolio.

This is a high-impact position within the Technical Expert Group, offering the opportunity to shape design standards, influence project quality at scale, and act as a key technical authority across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction management and design review for solar PV plants and energy storage systems (BESS) within the company’s asset portfolio
• Act as Design Lead within the Technical Expert Group, providing technical oversight and guidance across projects
• Establish and continuously enhance design standards aligned with global best practices
• Support ongoing project development by reviewing and optimizing engineering designs
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and project delivery

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power plant design or design management
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong technical foundation in power systems, design standards, and engineering execution
• Ability to operate as a subject matter expert and influence cross-functional teams
• Professional Engineer certification in power transmission and distribution
• Hands-on design experience in solar PV, BESS, and/or transmission & substation projects
• Experience on large-scale or international renewable energy projects
• Background with major EPC contractors or engineering firms in power generation
• Experience with grid connection projects at 154kV or above
• Strong English communication skills for technical discussions and stakeholder engagement
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with strong ownership and collaborative spirit
