Large-Scale Solar Project Development Manager (Senior / Junior)

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy platform to appoint a Project Development PM focused on utility-scale solar projects connected at 154kV and above.

This role sits at the core of strategic growth, driving origination, structuring, and execution of large-scale solar investments while engaging with key stakeholders across the energy ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large-scale solar projects, including 154kV grid-connected assets
• Originate new project opportunities and drive negotiations with key stakeholders
• Structure investments and support commercial decision-making
• Conduct feasibility assessments covering land, design, permitting, grid connection, capex, and project economics
• Prepare and present investment proposals for internal approval processes
• Oversee project execution post-investment, ensuring delivery on timeline and budget
• Review and negotiate key agreements including land lease, service contracts, asset acquisition, EPC, and O&M
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across developers, utilities, investors, and regulatory bodies

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project development within power, energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors
• Strong understanding of project development lifecycle and stakeholder management
• Commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and risks
• Proactive, self-driven approach with strong ownership of project outcomes
• Experience in developing or investing in projects connected at 154kV or above
• Track record in solar project development or investment within Korea
• Solid understanding of transmission & substation infrastructure, grid systems, and power market regulations
• Well-rounded capabilities across technical, financial, legal, and regulatory aspects of project development
• Established network within Korea’s power and renewable energy sector
• Strong English communication skills for business discussions
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
