Offshore Wind Project Development Director (Senior Manager)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the full development lifecycle of a utility-scale offshore wind project, acting as a central force in aligning strategy, execution, and stakeholder interests.

• Lead end-to-end project development, ensuring delivery of key milestones on time and within budget
• Manage and oversee joint venture partnerships, including governance and commercial alignment
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across PMO, EPC, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution
• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team spanning permitting, stakeholder management, and technical interfaces
• Navigate and resolve complex challenges related to project economics, risk, and overall viability
• Prepare and present high-quality materials for investment decisions and steering committee approvals
• Act as Development Director within the project entity, providing strategic direction and governance oversight
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment at all levels
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and key developments to senior leadership
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with authorities, local communities, and key external partners

Qualifications

• Proven experience in offshore wind, energy, or large-scale infrastructure project development, with a track record of managing projects exceeding $50M
• Strong leadership capability, with experience leading cross-functional and multinational teams
• Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to balance technical, financial, and environmental considerations
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively with internal teams, partners, authorities, and communities
• Fluent in Korean and English
• Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven, with the ability to operate in dynamic project environments
• Structured approach to project execution, with strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
• Project Management certification and experience in renewable or offshore projects are advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
