Overview
A leading global renewable energy developer and technology provider is seeking a Senior Investment Director to drive its expansion across Southeast Asia. With a strong global track record in offshore wind and a growing regional footprint, the organisation is entering a critical phase of investment, partnership development, and project execution across high-growth markets.
This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering the company’s investment strategy across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on offshore wind opportunities in the Philippines and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy & Execution

Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of renewable energy investments across Southeast Asia
Drive end-to-end deal execution including origination, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and financial close
Develop and maintain robust financial models and valuation frameworks
Assess market entry strategies and support capital allocation decisions

Market Development (Southeast Asia)

Build and execute country strategies, with priority focus on the Philippines and Vietnam
Monitor regulatory, political, and commercial developments across key markets
Identify and secure early-stage development opportunities and strategic entry points

Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

Establish and manage relationships with local developers, government bodies, utilities, and strategic partners
Lead joint venture discussions, consortium formation, and partnership structuring
Represent the organisation in high-level external engagements across the region

Portfolio & Project Support

Work closely with development, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure investment alignment with project delivery
Support project financing processes and engagement with lenders and investors
Provide strategic oversight across the project lifecycle to optimise value creation

Candidate Profile

Extensive experience in infrastructure, energy, or renewable energy investments, ideally with exposure to offshore wind
Strong track record of leading complex transactions in emerging markets
Deep understanding of Southeast Asian energy markets, particularly the Philippines and/or Vietnam
Proven ability to operate in cross-cultural, international environments
Strong financial modelling, commercial negotiation, and strategic thinking capabilities
Established network across regional developers, investors, and stakeholders is highly advantageous
