Deputy Director, Market Analysis

As part of its long-term global strategy, the company is making a high-profile and structured entry into the European wind market, positioning Europe as a core strategic region with strong emphasis on localization, long-term presence, and ecosystem participation.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Strategy, this role will serve as a central intelligence and market insight function, directly supporting European strategy formulation, localization initiatives, and major investment and market decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Insight

Establish and operate comprehensive internal and external market intelligence channels across Europe, covering policy developments, country-specific conditions, market and project dynamics, competitor strategies, technology trends, supply chain structures, and customer demand.

Independently produce and regularly publish high-quality market insight and strategic analysis reports, focusing on wind energy policies, investment environment, auction schemes, land and labour regulations, localization requirements, and supply chain conditions, identifying key opportunities and risks.

Provide timely and well-founded viewpoints on sudden market or policy changes, including auction outcomes, regulatory shifts, cost inflation, trade and geopolitical impacts. II. Market and Segment Analysis

Conduct in-depth country-level and segment analyses across onshore wind, offshore wind, repowering, localization, and wind-plus-storage markets, supporting strategic prioritization and resource allocation.

Track major European developers, IPPs, EPCs, and project pipelines, analysing their investment strategies, decision-making processes, and supply chain preferences. III. Commercial and Customer Support

Support strategic customer development by providing market and project insights, understanding customer needs, and clearly articulating the company’s competitive positioning in key wind projects.

Effectively translate customer project and technical requirements into actionable insights for internal strategy, solution, R&D, and delivery teams. IV. Cross-functional and Strategic Support

Coordinate with global and regional strategy, marketing, technical, R&D, investment, finance, and project delivery teams to support European market expansion, localization initiatives, and investment projects.

Complete other strategic tasks assigned by senior management.
Qualifications / Requirements

Extensive Experience in the European Wind Industry Several years of relevant experience in the European wind power sector, gained through OEMs, developers, consultancies, research institutions, or key supply chain players. Demonstrated solid understanding of the European wind industry structure, business models, and competitive dynamics.

Strong Knowledge of Market, Policy, and Regulatory Frameworks In-depth understanding of wind energy policies, regulatory environments, and auction mechanisms across major European markets. Proven ability to translate policy and regulatory changes into clear market, risk, and strategic insights.

Excellent Analytical and Independent Judgment Capability Strong capability to conduct structured analysis and develop independent, well-reasoned viewpoints under complex and uncertain conditions. Able to support senior management with high-quality, decision-oriented insights rather than descriptive reporting.

Effective Communication and Cross-functional Influence Ability to translate complex market, policy, and customer insights into clear, actionable recommendations for strategy, commercial, and investment teams. Proven experience working across functions and influencing stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

International Background and Language Skills Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.

Prior work experience in Europe or long-term involvement in European projects is strongly preferred.
