Senior Business Development Lead
LSP Renewables is hiring a senior-level Business Developer for a client to lead commercial growth in Mexico for its battery energy storage (BESS) and solar solutions. The role focuses on opening the market, building a pipeline, and securing deals through strong relationships with EPCs and key distributors, with the potential to evolve into a Country Manager position as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities

Own and drive business development and sales for BESS + solar solutions across Mexico.

Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to build a strong, qualified pipeline.

Identify and convert target clients (developers, C&I, utilities, IPPs, EPC-led projects).

Build/maintain relationships with top EPCs, distributors, and key partners to accelerate market access.

Lead commercial negotiations and support deal execution from early-stage opportunity to closing.

Provide market intelligence (competitor activity, pricing, routes to market, partner mapping).

Work closely with internal teams as the company establishes its local legal entity and footprint.
Candidate Profile

5–10 years proven BD/sales experience in solar and/or BESS (strong preference for both).

Demonstrated sales results (pipeline creation, conversions, revenue impact).

Strong network and proven access to EPCs and/or major distributors in Mexico.

Commercially sharp: negotiation, stakeholder management, partner development.

English required (to work with global stakeholders).

Preference for local Mexico-based talent (Mexico City ideal due to operational setup).
