Sales Manager | BESS | Romania

Job Summary

The BESS Key Account Manager will be responsible for executing the sales strategy for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products within Romania. This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while developing and strengthening relationships with Distribution Partners and potential customers. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, drive market share growth, and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales strategy for BESS products within the assigned territory, aligned with overall business goals and objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with Distribution Partners, prospective customers, and industry stakeholders.

  • Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate energy storage solutions.

  • Prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate contracts in accordance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends within the BESS sector.

  • Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and customer feedback to sales leadership and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Approximately 3 years of sales experience within the energy sector, preferably in battery energy storage systems (BESS).

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies in competitive markets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Work Environment

This role requires periodic travel to customer sites, partner locations, and industry events.
