Junior Business Development Lead
LSP Renewables is supporting a client with the hire of a Junior Business Developer to help drive market expansion in Mexico across battery energy storage (BESS) and solar solutions. The role will focus on pipeline generation, outreach, partner/EPC mapping, and early-stage opportunity qualification, working closely with the Senior Business Developer as the business establishes and grows its local presence.
Key Responsibilities

Support lead generation and pipeline building for BESS + solar opportunities in Mexico.

Conduct market mapping: identify EPCs, developers, C&I clients, distributors, and key decision-makers.

Assist with outreach (cold/warm calls, LinkedIn, email campaigns) and set meetings for senior team members.

Qualify opportunities (basic technical/commercial screening) and maintain CRM hygiene.

Help prepare presentations, proposals, meeting notes, and follow-ups.

Track competitor activity and provide basic market intelligence.

Support coordination with internal/global stakeholders (English communication).
Candidate Profile

1–3+ years experience in sales/BD (renewables preferred; solar/BESS exposure a plus).

Strong communication skills; confident engaging new stakeholders.

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving setup phase.

Interest in renewables / energy transition; willingness to learn product + market quickly.

English preferred/required (depending on stakeholder exposure).

Preference for local Mexico-based candidates, ideally Mexico City.
