The successful candidate will have existing relationships with key industry stakeholders and be a team player, ensuring projects meet the highest technical and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Specialist Expertise: Provide specialist expertise in HV design, grid connections, and BESS, supplementing additional expertise through established contractors. Technology Selection: Conduct technology and contractor technical reviews for BESS and renewable projects, ensuring compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Connection Agreements: Offer expertise in grid connection processes with NESO, securing Grid Connection Offers and managing Connection Applications. Project Finance: Manage technical due diligence and relationships with Lenders Technical Advisors and Owners Engineers. Project Delivery: Oversee contractors' technical compliance obligations and support successful project delivery from design to commissioning. Risk Management: Mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks related to grid integration, substation design, and contracts. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to UK regulations, Grid Code, and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with related experience. Experience: 10+ years in engineering for energy infrastructure with hands-on design experience. Expertise in multiple key areas: substations, HV switchgear, HV protection, bulk earthworks, power system modelling. Proven experience in utility-scale BESS or renewable energy projects development and construction. Expertise in substation design and UK grid connection processes (National Grid ESO, CUSC, Ofgem). Experience engaging with the wider project stakeholder community and discharging permitting conditions, ideally in Scotland. Experience negotiating contracts with technology providers and BoP/EPC contractors. Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Our client is seeking an experienced Cable Lay Superintendent to supervise all back-deck operations during offshore submarine cable installation campaigns. This role will lead the offshore cable installation team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all cable handling and laying activities throughout loading, transport, and installation phases.   Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a cable installation team of 10–15 personnel, including foremen and operators. Coordinate daily shift handovers and maintain clear communication across vessel operations, bridge crew, and survey teams. Supervise back-deck operations, ensuring safe operability of the Cable Installation System (CIS), ROVs, cranes, and support equipment. Ensure cable integrity is maintained during loading, laying, and burial processes. Monitor cable installation progress and report activities in daily logs. Liaise with client representatives onboard regarding progress, technical clarifications, and operational adjustments. Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure uninterrupted cable laying performance. Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.   Candidate Profile: 7+ years’ experience in subsea cable installation, including leadership experience in senior technician or supervisory roles. Strong safety mindset with proven experience operating in offshore environments. Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams. Proficient with MS Office and reporting tools. Fluent English written and spoken; additional languages are beneficial. Fit and certified for offshore working environments.   Education & Certifications: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience. An experienced Offshore Senior Surveyor is required to support offshore construction and excavation operations. The role will involve vessel-based survey execution, equipment setup, data collection, and reporting to ensure safe and precise delivery of marine works. Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-mobilisation of Echoscope setup and survey pole mechanisms in Belgium. Conduct vessel positioning services onboard a multicat during mass flow excavation and rock bag installation campaigns. Operate Echoscope USE software to visualise excavation tools and installed rock bags. Use Qinsy for online navigation, data logging, and line tracking. Perform PLGR work, including manual layback calculations for the pre-lay grapnel train and load cell data reporting. Prepare daily and project reports on survey operations and results. Candidate Profile: Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a surveyor within marine or offshore construction environments. Strong practical knowledge of modern measurement techniques and hydrographic survey systems. Proficient in AutoCAD and Qinsy navigation software. Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Construction (topography specialisation), or a related field. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. An experienced Statutory Construction Manager is required to oversee on-site construction and object monitoring during the execution phase of onshore wind projects. The role corresponds to Service Phase 8 under the German HOAI for civil engineering structures and is responsible for ensuring all construction works are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise on-site construction activities and coordinate local monitoring teams. Ensure all work is executed according to approved plans, designs, and technical specifications. Monitor compliance with building regulations, safety requirements, and technical standards. Conduct functionality tests of system components and overall installations. Lead regular quality inspections and maintain detailed documentation of the construction process. Oversee adherence to site safety and security regulations to prevent accidents. Compile and submit reports, inspection records, certificates, and handover documentation. Ensure full traceability and quality assurance throughout the construction phase. Candidate Profile: Degree qualified (Dipl.-Ing. / M.Sc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent), essential for projects in Hessen. 3–5 years’ experience managing complex construction, maintenance, or service projects. Background in project management for wind energy installations (10–50 WTGs). Technical training in electrical engineering, metal construction, or a similar discipline. Proficient in safety standards and HSE management within construction environments. Familiarity with German laws and regulations, including the Occupational Safety Act, Working Hours Act, Industrial Safety and Health Ordinance, and DGUV rules. Experience conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks, and daily monitoring activities. Strong organisational and leadership skills with an eye for detail and compliance. Language Requirements: German: Minimum B2 level (certificate required unless native speaker). English: Understanding B1, Speaking A1 (certificate required unless native speaker). Certifications and Training: Participation in Safety Awareness Course. Comprehensive HSE knowledge and experience with safety documentation, accident reporting, and corrective actions.
