Technical Contract Manager
 
Location: Swindon or Hamburg


Our client is looking for a Technical Contract Manager to be responsible for preparing technical tender documentation, coordinate and lead negotiations for technical matters and clarification with internal and external stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of technical contracts including the annexes for wind offshore projects worldwide.
• Act as the technical lead during the negotiations for the technical-contractual terms of the agreements.
• Act as a link between different departments to ensure that their input is considered in the contracts.
• Technical contract review, amendment and termination management as well as capturing lessons learned and implementation.
• Interface between engineering, procurement, construction, and project members to clarify technical-contractual questions arising during tender phases.
• Evaluate offers; Identify and evaluate deviations and ensure that technical concessions made during negotiations are in line with company policies and standards.
• Project-specific tender document list.
• Deviation and clarification register.

 
 
 
Requirements

• Degree in the field of engineering.
• Drafting, managing, and tracking of technical contracts (especially of Offshore wind farms).
• Relevant comprehensive experience in the design, construction, and operations of Offshore wind farm components.
• Experience in Civil Engineering (optional.)
• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Contract and/or Requirements Management.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
