E&I Commissioning Engineer

LSP's client are a global utility and are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineering to provide technical support for E&I (Electrical, Measurement, and Control) installation and commissioning of gas storage components.

Key responsibilities:
Review and ensuring completeness of:
• Electrical schematic and terminal diagrams
• I/O lists and loop documentation
• Functional and safety descriptions
• Component lists
Organization and coordination of:
• Loop checks
• Functional tests
• On-site tests
• Close collaboration with control system, OT (Operational Technology), and
automation teams
Participation in:
• Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at suppliers
• Inspections with TÜV / certified experts
• Regulatory and safety-related inspections
• Support in troubleshooting and issue resolution during commissioning
• Involvement in the step-by-step handover of the plant to operations
• Coordination of external E&I service providers and suppliers during the
commissioning phase
• Alignment of interfaces between E&I, process engineering, pipeline construction,
and civil works
• Support in scheduling and timeline planning
• Contribution to commissioning and final documentation
• Technical input for change orders and modifications with commissioning impact
• Preparation of specifications, bid evaluation and analysis, as well as technical
support for procurement processes and participation in contract award
negotiations

Key Requirements:
• Engineering background preferred / Technician
• Fluent German (business/professional proficiency required)
