As Director of Development, you will have a background in project development and need to be an accomplished people leader with experience of managing through change. Commercially astute and experienced, you’ll play a key role in shaping and supporting the team through project phases and contract negotiations, and in achieving their goals through a period of continued growth. 
 
Responsibilities

• Putting safety at the centre of everything and developing a strong safety culture within your team and projects.
• Driving successful pipeline and project development outcomes for the business, shareholders, and stakeholders to enable the achievement of our client’s five- and ten-year targets.
• Leading the development team, fostering a culture of high performance.
• Overseeing the Project Development strategy and plan, and using your expertise to build and embed best practices.
• Supporting sound business decisions that drive business growth, particularly around acquisition and investment.

Requirements

• Experience of energy infrastructure, knowledge of the energy and power markets and the associated regulatory environment.
• Experience of operating in a fast-growth business environment, including effectively managing stakeholders.
• Experience of managing a portfolio and team which is distributed geographically.
• A strategic and entrepreneurial approach to work.
