Scope

  • Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan, including quality objectives, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Align on key quality documentation, such as Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection Test and Audit Plan (ITAP), with external stakeholders e.g., Contractor, Certifier, Korean governmental bodies.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections of work processes, materials, and deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Define, implement, and manage quality IT system/software for project purposes to handle Open Points and Nonconformities for the entire scope of work.
  • Identify and address non-conformities and deviations, and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analyzing trends and recommending improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide training and support to project team members on quality processes and requirements.
  • Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality status and contribute to decision-making processes.

Qualifications Required      

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
  • Be familiar with industry codes and standard e.g., ISO9001, ISO19011. Being familiar with the APQP4Wind guideline is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Project management experience from large scale EPC(I) projects is a requirement, preferably proven experience in quality management within the O&G, Shipbuilding, Civil Works, Petro Chemical or Railroad industry.
  • Management of cross-functional and multi-disciplinary work packages within large scale EPC(I) projects
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO, IEC standards, and industry-specific guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English & Korean.
