Photovoltaic Engineer - Grid connection

The candidate will play a key role in the development and optimisation of our Utility-Scale PV and BESS projects throughout the entire project life cycle, from origination to operation.

• Analysis of available capacity in transmission and distribution grids for access and connection of new generation projects.

 

• Design of preliminary lay-out and technical solution for connection to transport and distribution networks.

 

• Management of grid access and connection applications.

 

• Collaboration with project development and land acquisition teams.

 

• Contribution to the technical and economic optimisation of projects:

 

• • Collaboration with external consultancies
  • Request for quotations DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX costs
  • BESS, Hybridisation

 

• Ensure that the necessary Operational Notifications are obtained until the generation plant is definitively registered in the RAIPPE

Requirements/qualifications
 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience as an electrical engineer in the RE sector in utility-scale PV projects.
• Good knowledge of sector legislation and administrative procedures for the authorisation and commissioning of Utility-Scale generation plants in Spain.
• Good command of Auto CAD, PVsyst, others
• Course/master in PV or BESS a plus.
• Good level of English.
• High capacity to add value and grow with the company.
