Our client, are looking for a Senior Director to join their fast-growing London based team of 20 professionals, working at the forefront of the global energy transition. As the Senior Director you will collaborate closely with colleagues across our international offices on high-impact renewable energy transactions. 

As a senior member of their advisory deal team, you will play a key role in originating, structuring and executing complex transactions, from project finance to M&A. This role offers significant autonomy and responsibility, with direct client and stakeholder engagement. 

We're looking for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in the UK and Iberian market who can bring strategic vision, strong analytical capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset to help drive the next way of clean energy investments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the origination and execution of financial advisory mandates in the energy transition space
• Leverage and grow your professional network to develop new business opportunities in the UK
• Structure and manage transactions involving debt financing, equity raising, and M&A
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and key stakeholders
• Oversee financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence, mentoring junior analysts
• Monitor energy and finance market developments, particularly in renewables, venture capital, and electricity markets
• Represent our client at industry conferences and events across the UK and Europe
• Share knowledge, support cross-border collaboration, and contribute to a strong team culture

Experience/Requirements

• Master’s degree (Finance, Engineering, or related field)
• 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in M&A or project finance
• Proven leadership in the energy transition sector and a robust network in the UK energy markets
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a track record of winning and executing deals
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences
• Collaborative and flexible mindset, with a willingness to travel and work across time zones
