Our client is a Corporate & Investment Bank.  They are hiring Debt Advisory Analysts and Associates, who will support origination and execution in project finance and M&A advisory, focusing on the Cleantech sector. You’ll work closely with clients, lenders, and internal teams to deliver innovative financial solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and track deal pipelines.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and advisors.
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Support transaction structuring and execution, owning specific deliverables.
  • Communicate with clients on transaction matters.
  • Develop and analyse financial models (project finance, optimization, sensitivities).
  • Prepare deal materials (information memoranda, sponsor/lender approvals).
  • Assist in financing and project documentation review and negotiations.
  • Coordinate due diligence with external advisors.
  • Mentor junior analysts and interns.
  • Contribute to cross-selling CIB products with other teams.
  • Assist with internal and external administrative tasks.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings.
 
Skills:
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (project finance, valuation).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish or other European languages are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
 
Experience
  • 1-5 years in debt advisory (project finance, acquisition finance), ideally with a focus on renewables.
  • Experience in investment banks, advisory firms, commercial banks, or sponsor/developer side (funds/utilities).
