Our client is looking for Installation and Commissioning Technicians to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Commissioning:
    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of wind turbine components including nacelles, towers, blades, and hubs.
    • Ensure proper alignment and secure fastening of turbine components.
    • Follow detailed technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and commissioning.
    • Perform system checks and calibrations during the commissioning process.
    • Conduct functional testing and verification of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Mechanical Responsibilities:
    • Assemble and install mechanical components of wind turbines.
    • Perform mechanical inspections and adjustments as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the installation and commissioning process.
    • Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems of wind turbines.
  • Electrical Responsibilities:
    • Install and commission electrical systems and components of wind turbines, including wiring, control panels, and transformers.
    • Perform electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure all electrical installations and commissioning activities meet industry standards and safety regulations.
    • Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical systems of wind turbines.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of installations and commissioning activities.
    • Identify and report any defects or issues to the Site Manager/Commissioning Supervisor.
    • Adhere to company and industry standards for safety and quality.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
    • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of installation, commissioning activities, inspections, and maintenance work.
    • Prepare and submit reports to the Site Manager/Commissioning Supervisor.
    • Update and maintain installation and commissioning manuals and documentation.


  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of wind turbines or similar large-scale mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various onshore wind farm sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in wind turbine technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with onshore wind turbine installations and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to wind turbine installations and commissioning.
