Our client is seeking a Commercial Agreements Manager to join their team in the UK.


  • Reporting to the Commercial Director and with dotted lines to the Project Legal Counsel this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated commercial manager / contract manager / lawyer to join the rapidly growing team and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
  • The position is to be based in London with flexibility on work from home or elsewhere with regular visits to London Office (Farringdon). Frequent business travel in UK and possibly further afield may be required for this post.
  • The successful candidate would work as part of a growing dedicated multi-disciplinary team to negotiate, execute, manage, and report on various commercial agreements. There will be a focus on stakeholder agreements with private persons, statutory undertakers, and government quangos. These agreements will be fundamental to facilitate the development of the project and progression towards the Financial Investment Decision.


  • Prepare, negotiate, and seek approval for entering and close a wide variety of commercial agreements with public and private stakeholders, including leases, licenses, crossing, proximity and cooperation agreements
  • Act as interface between the project, external service providers (agents, law firms) and third parties
  • Support the land transaction and consenting teams as necessary

Experience Required

  • Robust understanding of a wide variety of commercial and legal arrangements
  • Ability to build effective relationships
  • Proven ability to communicate at all levels written and verbally
  • Strong results focus supported by relevant commercial skills and knowledge
