Our client is looking for a Deputy Construction Package Manager to ensure good HSSE practices in all activities, assist with daily construction site management and stakeholder management. Work back-to-back with the Construction Project Manager
Management of T&I Construction scope contracts.
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety for all activities at WTG preassembly port.
  • Ensure implementation of the HSE plan onsite, and to establish a safety culture amongst all involved parties.
  • Manage MWS contract and interfaces to other packages.
  • Manage Resource contracts under the Construction package (Client reps, Site Technicians, Vessel Inspectors and staff for Commissioning harbour)
  • Manage DPR, Quality and GIS software contract.
  • Ensure that Lessons Learnt and Best Practice are implemented.
  • Participate in tender process for Construction related contracts.

Major Tasks

  • Management of Offshore Construction activities.
  • Prepare technical procurement documentation, Employers Requirements, processes and supporting documentation for Construction Package logistics.
  • Prepare, communicate and implement overall Resource Allocation Plan in relation to offshore installation activities.
  • Implement Offshore Site Management Manual, including organisation, roles and responsibilities, meeting structure, plans and procedures.
  • Support T&I Managers in required T&I scopes.
  • Input to Regulatory and Engineering team for the consenting process.
  • Prepare DPR setup with PM’s/Contract Managers for other Packages.
  • Participate in handling the handover to O&M, including any post construction works.
  • Establishment and chairing of an efficient governance and meeting structures for the offshore installation activities.
  • Report, follow up and communicate (day-to-day, weekly, monthly) HSSE, progress, risks and results to Construction
  • Project Manager and EPCI, supported by analysis and potential corrective actions when required.

  • Recommended 5 to 8 years of documented experience within construction management, preferable Offshore activities in large scale wind farm projects, including recommended 5 to 8 years of documented leadership experience
  • Technically strong, adaptable, works well in teams, strong communication abilities)
  • Good English skills both writing and verbal
