Our client is looking for a Sales Director, Offshore Wind, to join their team. They are one of the largest wind turbine manufacturer's in the World. The company focuses on designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing megawatt-class wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage complex bidding processes related to the supply of offshore wind turbines to international projects until contract signature
• Act as single point of contact throughout the whole sales process for technical and commercial topics related to WTG supply and service
• Represent whole of clients product portfolio including solar, hydrogen and storage
• Ensure that customer requirements are well understood and define winning sales strategies
• Liaise with internal stakeholder for bid preparation, client meetings and during contract negotiations
• Prepare and compile proposal packages
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholder in the offshore wind industry
• Support the continuous improvement of business processes, commercial concepts and sales documents

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration
• Professional experience in at least one area of the wind industry, preferably offshore wind
• Willingness to learn and represent other technologies from the field of renewable energy like solar, hydrogen and storage
• At least 5 years professional experience in project management, preferable in the wind industry
• Experience with sales processes and contract negotiations
• Ability to build trusting and long-lasting relationships with clients
• Good understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of large-scale renewable projects
• Ability to work in an independent manner in a very dynamic environment
• Ability to translate project requirements into contractual langue
• Fluent English and very good communication skills
