Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving the growth and development of a solar photovoltaic (PV) business. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing sales teams. The Business Development Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar PV industry, including new markets and product lines
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, client engagement, and proposal development
  • Work with engineers and project managers to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitor the financial performance of the business, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and standards and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve business goals.
