Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for initiating the business development and investment activities in Japan.
• Formulate business development strategy and drive market share
• Identify partnership and investment opportunities in Japan and develop long term strategic relationships with partners
• Take ownership for origination, due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation in the structuring of complex acquisitions and developments transactions
• Lead commercial negotiation of term sheets and contracts
• Ensure timely project delivery post investment together with team members across the organization and ensure risks are managed appropriately

Key Requirements:

• A degree in business administration, economics or finance with at least 8 years of experience
• Knowledge of industry, policies and regulations within the Korea offshore wind market is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding and track record of making infrastructure investments in Asia
• Self-initiative, detail oriented with good inter-personal skill and strong analytical mind
• Must be an enthusiastic team player and a self-starter who is able to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with other countries across Asia is a plus
• Fluency in English and Japanese (written and oral); additional fluency or business proficiency in Chinese would be a plus
