LSP Renewables have partnered with a leading IPP in the CEE renewable energy industry to recruit a Project Finance Associate in Vienna or Bucharest, to provide support to the Financing team with executing finance transactions as well as acquisition and capital raises. Furthermore, you will gain experience in arranging Project/Portfolio and other Specialized Financing transactions across CEE region.

Our client have been operating since 2019 and have already closed investments of more than 300 MW across Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania. As well as investing and acquiring projects, they also develop their own projects in-house. They have an impressive development pipeline (7GW+) of Onshore Wind and Solar PV assets where the Project Finance Associate will add significant value to.  Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models in a transparent, accurate way
• Perform numerical analysis for presentations, investment memoranda and other materials for financings processes with banks and other financing parties
• Work with advisors, consolidate and challenge the input for financial models and valuations
• Perform market research and acquisition targets’ analysis
• Contribution to financing documentation negotiations and execution of financing transactions
• Manage Q&A process and provide other support in due diligence processes
• Support the Finance & Operations teams with financial analysis and budgeting
• Work closely with the M&A and Business Development team

  Requirements

• Degree educated in Economics or Finance
• Several years experience in project financing/structured finance (investment fund, bank or other financial institution) and/or consultancy (valuation, transaction services, debt advisory) is required. Investment banking/M&A experience may be also considered as part of an investment fund/bank or consultancy companies.
• Strong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques
• Experience with project financing
• Experience in renewable power industry
• Fluency in English is essential. Any other CEE languages would be advantageous
